These oversized trousers are cut from a thick Japanese cotton fabric with a dry, substantial feel.

Like a good denim, the fabric will soften and develop with wear, gaining character over time. The fit is loose and generous, with two pleats at the front and a slightly dropped crotch. A dart at the lower leg brings the hem in, giving the trousers a subtle tapered shape. The elasticated waistband keeps things comfortable, while a button fly and two different patch pockets at the back add simple, functional details.

Made for comfort, these are trousers you can pretty much live in. A more fitted worker-style shirt jacket (MAKO) is made in the same fabric. Worn together, the contrast between the compact top and generous trousers creates a new, modern take on a suit.
